FAQ
Does AI Autofill run on my computer?
No. A run sends one frame per shot to StoryFolder's server and on to a hosted vision model.
Does AI Autofill fill every field?
No. Just the ones you want. AI Autofill can be enabled or disabled for any field so you can choose between manual entry or AI autofill.
Will AI just hallucinate bad values?
Dropdown, Rating and Checkbox answers always stay bounded within the available options you decide upon - AI just selects the most appropriate one. Tag and Text field types are open and can return a value you never listed.
Can it overwrite notes I already typed?
Not by default. Only fill empty fields is on from the start; overwriting is a separate choice with a count of what it replaces, and a run creates no restore point.
Can it fill Client or Job#?
Autofill works on shot fields, not video-level ones. Fields like client or job number would be better suited as manual-entry fields on the video level.
Is AI field discovery the same feature?
No. AI field discovery proposes potential metadata fields for you to add for your workflow whereas ai autofill processes individual shots to provide values for those fields.
