Your account page
Your account page is the central hub for managing your StoryFolder identity, subscription, and machines. You'll find it at storyfolder.com/account.
What can I do from the account page?
The account page has a sidebar with sections for:
- Profile — your name, email, and account info.
- Subscription — your plan and billing controls.
- Invoices — past payments and receipts.
- Machines — activated devices.
- Download — direct links to the desktop installers.
How do I update my name?
- Go to storyfolder.com/account.
- Click Profile in the sidebar (or it may be selected by default).
- Edit the name field.
- Click Save.
Your name appears on your published share links, so this is what your viewers will see.
How do I change my email address?
Email changes are sensitive — they involve confirming the new address. For now, please contact support and we'll make the change for you.
Where do I find my activation key / API key?
On the Profile section of your account page. You'll usually only need it if support asks for it during troubleshooting — the desktop app's Connect your account flow uses it behind the scenes.
Can I see how many machines I'm using?
Yes. Click Machines in the sidebar. See Activated machines for details.
