Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You don't need to pay anything during the trial, and you can cancel before it ends with no charge.
Who is each plan for?
Free is great for trying StoryFolder out, casual study, or analyzing a few short videos. You get the core import → notes → share workflow, just with limits on the number and length of boards.
Basic suits hobbyists and students who want more room — 10 boards and 24 shots each — but don't need custom fields or pro exports.
Pro is the sweet spot for individual professionals: filmmakers, video editors, marketing analysts, educators. Unlimited storyboards, custom fields, full exports, and password-protected sharing.
Business is for teams. Three active machines, priority support, personal onboarding, and custom branding for client-facing exports.
How do I pick the right plan?
Ask yourself:
- How many videos do you want to analyze? Free maxes out at 3. Basic gives you 10. Pro is unlimited.
- How long are your videos? A feature film has thousands of shots — that needs Pro.
- Do you want custom note fields? That's Pro+.
- Do you need to deliver exports to clients? Pro for everyone except teams; Business for white-labeled exports.
- Are you working as a team? Business gives you 3 machine slots.
