Video metadata Pro
Some facts are true of the whole job. Client, Job# and Status describe a project; Shot Size and Usable describe a moment. Video metadata fields hold the first kind, typed once per project instead of once per shot.

How do I add a video field?
- Open Preferences (Cmd+, on Mac, Ctrl+, on Windows).
- Go to Notes & Metadata → Video Metadata.
- Add a field, name it, and pick a field type.
Video fields are a single flat list — there are no categories to arrange, because the values sit on the video itself.
How is this different from shot metadata?

Can AI Autofill fill these?
No. AI Autofill is a shot-metadata feature — there's no Autofill switch in the Video Metadata pane at all, because a client name isn't in the frame. Those facts get typed once by the person who knows them.
Are video fields searchable?
Yes. Text, Dropdown, Tag and Number values are read by the same search box that reads your shot fields, so typing a client name finds the projects filed against it. You can also filter whole projects by a video field.
