Create your account
You'll need a free StoryFolder account before you can use the desktop app. It takes about a minute, and you don't need a credit card to start.
How do I create an account?
- Go to storyfolder.com/signup.
- Enter your full name, email address, and a password.
- Click Create account.
- You're in. You'll be sent straight to the onboarding screen, where you can pick a plan or jump right into the app.
Do I need to verify my email?
If we need to verify your address, we'll email you a confirmation link. Click it once and you're done. You can keep using the app while you wait.
Can I sign up with Google?
Not at the moment. Email and password sign-up is the supported path today. If you'd prefer to skip remembering a password, you can use a passwordless sign-in link to log in instead.
What if I already have an account?
Sign in at storyfolder.com/signin instead, or open the desktop app and click Connect your account to authenticate.
How do I pick a plan?
After you sign up, you'll see the plan selector. Here's the short version:

All paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You can switch or cancel anytime.
